With just over one week until my move, I still have yet to pack. Anything. It’s not as bad as it sounds though – most of my things are still packed up from the move last year. I should get my key by next Wednesday or Thursday (hopefully), so I can start moving things over then. I cannot wait. I’m so ready to start building my own little safe and quiet haven again.
Poor Eric. And Beau. And Theresa. And my mom. And most anyone else I come into contact with. I imagine they’re all ready for this to be over with so I will stop incessantly talking about it. 
And tell me this isn’t the cutest picture. Ever. Seriously, I dare you.

Three months have passed since I’ve made an entry here. Not for lack of things going on; instead, it’s because too much has been going on. I’ve found someone who cares about me as much as I care about him, and I’m moving back to South City!
First things first: Eric and I first met back in October ‘05. We had an amazing first date but then nothing really happened after that. I wasn’t sure if he liked me and, as it turns out, he wasn’t sure if I liked him. Months went by, we hung out a few times, and then he called me up on my birthday sending me good wishes. I asked him if he wanted to go out with me and my friends the following night; he said sure, and since then, we’ve pretty much been inseparable. I don’t want to go into much detail on the internets, but I will say that I adore him and love him very much. (And by the by, we just passed the four month mark – making this my longest relationship in over two years.)
Next big thing: I’m moving back to South City!! Bennie and I decided that we each needed our own space again, so I called Janie and Floyd (my old landlords) and they told me that an apartment was opening up right next to my old one. I went and looked at it the very next day, fell immediately in love (it has a green! bathroom) and told them that I wanted it. I’m moving in on August 12th. Bennie also called up Janie & Floyd and he’ll be living just down the street from me, literally across the alley from Theresa. I think this is going to work out splendidly, all of us being in close proximity to each other – it’ll be like having roommates but without the stress of actually having to live with someone else.
That’s about all I want to write for now, but I hope to keep this site updated on a more frequent basis, if for no other reason than cathartic purposes.

- I’m still getting over my cold from a week ago.
- I’m thinking about letting my hair grow out – it’s been short for over 3 years now.
- One of my closest friends is getting married this weekend, and she will then “officially” be a part of my family.
- I’ve been eating a lot of rotisserie chicken lately. So much so that it would be beneficial for me to buy my own little rotisserie.
- I’m off work tomorrow for the Easter holiday. Huzzah!
- My family isn’t doing anything for Easter. I have an entirely free day on Sunday.
- I need some new music to listen to. Recommendations?
- I recently watched The Matrix and The Matrix: Reloaded for the first time. I must say, I enjoyed them immensely.
- I broke my glasses a few weeks ago but was able to repair them with super glue. I’m such a nerd.
- I would really like to take a vacation. SOON.
- I’m currently reading The Introvert Advantage: How to Thrive in an Extrovert World.
- My apartment is ever-so-slowly getting packed up in anticipation of moving this summer.
- I think it’s entirely too soon for this movie to be coming out.

Argh. My throat feels like I just swallowed about a dozen straight-edge razor blades and followed up with a nice saltwater gargle. In other words, it hurts. The pain is starting to go into my ears (never a good sign), and I am generally ache-y all over.
I hate being sick. 
I need some TLC and some hot tea, maybe.
